"ABstracts" are AB's Tracts: each representation tells a story. This ancient mode of art began with cave paintings that describe images carried in the mind. The artist is the "shaman" that helps us connect our primitive selves with the culture we are immersed within. Other "shamans" are dreamers, poets, novelists, dramatists, and composers.

State & Federal tax forms are now available at the library in the library's reference area located in the addition on the main floor of the library.
VITA, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, will be available Saturdays at the Oswego Public Library starting on January 30th from 12-5. Tax professionals will supervise the volunteers and electronic filing will be used. You can get all of your refund back in 10 days! Tax help will continue until April 10th. No tax help is available on March 13th or 20th.
We are thinning our magazine collection here at the Oswego Public Library and have hundreds of 2008 magazines looking for new homes. From American Artist to Yankee Magazine, a wide variety of wonderful publications can be taken home FREE for reading or craft projects.
Simply take the elevator up to UL (upper level) and browse the tables set up outside the Children's Room.
