Tax Help Available Throughout Oswego
While tax help is not occurring at the Oswego Public Library this year, there are many opportunities in the city to get help with your taxes, for free!
SUNY Oswego School of Business preparers:
Oswego: Thursdays 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9 and 23, March 8 and 29, and April 12 at Hamilton Homes, 96 Hamilton St.
Oswego: Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 28 to April 14 (closed March 10 and 17 and April 7) at Rich Hall, SUNY Oswego.
Oswego: Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 7 to April 10 at the Roy C. McCrobie Building, 41 Lake St.
Taxpayers should have with them last year’s completed tax forms, W-2s, 1099s, unemployment compensation statements, all forms indicating federal income tax paid (for example, estimated payments), dependent care provider information—including name, employer, provider identification or Social Security number—all receipts or cancelled checks for itemized deductions, and a Social Security or individual identification card for the taxpayer, spouse and dependents.
