MESSAGE FROM BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Oswego Public Library Board of Trustees is pledged to ensure that the Public Library provides the best up-to-date services to the greater Oswego community. A library has a responsibility to provide access to information necessary for a free society and for all people to be informed citizens. By providing free print and electronic resources, all citizens can be connected to job opportunities, political discourse, current events, government information, and social networking that otherwise might not be available to them. This budget will provide the funds necessary to maintain all current services, meet the demands of access to electronic resources for the future, and manage the library’s administrative operations in a safe environment.
Cathy Santos, President of the Board of Trustees
The Mission of the Oswego Public Library is to be the learning center for the Greater Oswego area and the place people turn to for the discovery of ideas, the joy of reading and the power of information. Community needs drive our services. We believe that library services should be delivered in a welcoming, convenient and responsive manner.
|Library Tax Levy||$1,261,083||1,279,999|

On behalf of the library staff and its Board of Trustees I would like to express our deep appreciation for all of your support over this past year...both financial and through your volunteerism. Your commitment to this library has made it what it is...a place of life long learning. Thank you.
