New Picture Books Available for Check-Out

Here is our weekly post about some of the new juvenile books that we have available for check-out here at the library! The titles today are all new Picture Books that we now have available:

New Juvenile Books - Non-Fiction

Hello everyone! Our list of new juvenile book titles that can be checked out here at the library are our new non-fiction titles that are geared towards children! Here are our new juvenile non-fiction titles:

  • "¡El lobo no nos morderá!" by Emily Gravett; traducido por Joana Delgado. ("Wolf won't bite!" by Emily Gravett and translated by Joana Delgado.)
  • "Yoga for Kids", written by Susannah Hoffman; foreward by Patricia Arquette; photographs taken by Lol Johnson; illustrated by Kitty Glavin.
  • "Click" by Kayla Miller.
  • "Hilo, Book 2: Saving the Whole World" by Judd Winick, with color by Guy Major.
  • "Hello Neighbor! The Kind and Caring World of Mister Rogers" by Matthew Cordell.
  • "Queen of Physics: How Wu Chien Shiung helped unlock the secrets of the Atom" by Teresa Robeson, and illustrated by Rebecca Huang.

Marionette Magic Theater Presentation

Here is our last video presentation as a part of our Summer Reading Program! We have a lovely show that was performed by the Marionette Magic Theater here in Oswego! We hope that you enjoy their performance!

Also, just another quick reminder our finale is still going on! If you need a sheet for our community-wide scavenger hunt, give us a call between 10am and 2pm today and we'll bring some sheets down that you can pick up at your convenience!

Regi Carpenter - Where there's Smoke

Our final video for the Summer Reading Program from Regi Carpenter is geared towards adults this time! This video presentation is entitled "Where There's Smoke" with some fun slice of life stories.
