Contact sharona.ginsberg@oswego.edu // 315-312-3544 to volunteer your repair skills

On Saturday, October 21st from noon until 4 pm, the Oswego Public Library and Penfield Library/SUNY Oswego will be offering you an opportunity to fix–it rather than toss-it. The festival will be located in the Community Room located on the lower level of the library at 120 East 2nd Street. Instead of throwing away something that's broken, why not fix it? The Fix It Festival will bring together people who need things repaired with "fixers" who have special skills. Fixers will not only help with repairs but will share their knowledge, as well. This free event will feature help with sewing (clothes, stuffed animals, etc.), small carpentry projects, crochet and knitting projects, small electrical items, book repair, computers and websites, home cleaning hacks and tips, and more.
